PET felt acoustic columns

Parthos acoustic columns from Narbutas have been created to help designers achieve the desired acoustic balance in different spaces. Best of all, they require no special fixings, thus giving you more freedom and flexibility. Parthos is a stylish, mobile and sustainable product that not only improves the acoustics of spaces but also makes the environment more functional.

Parthos ensures that high-frequency sounds like phone calls, medium-frequency sounds like human speech, and low-frequency sounds from heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems are muffled. The acoustic columns are filled with textile offcuts, which have excellent sound-absorption properties. It is covered with PET felt, which is porous and enhances these properties. The choice of pattern also contributes to the improvement of acoustics by dispersing some of the sound waves.

The PET felt are also available in other Narbutas acoustic products including Acoustic Artwork panels, baffles and desktop screens allowing designers to create a unified palette throughout the workspace.

The Parthos collection consists of four types of acoustic columns:

A basic acoustic column (without additional accessories) serves its main purpose of absorbing sound. You can choose from three different heights – 800mm, 1200mm, and 1600mm.

A column with space for a plant pot allows you to create a biophilic design that will brighten up any interior. This solution is suitable for big meeting rooms, relaxation areas, reception spaces and much more. Multiple columns placed side by side can also be used for zoning. These planter columns are also available in three heights – 800mm, 1200mm, and 1600mm.

A column with hooks can be easily integrated into meeting spaces. You can use hooks to hang your clothes, handbags or bags. Acoustic columns with hooks are 1600mm high.

A column with a power socket unit is ideal for meeting rooms or relaxation areas next to lounge seaters. You can use it to charge your smart devices with ease and continue your work or conversation. Choose an 800mm high acoustic column with the most suitable electric charging station.

Sustainability

Parthos acoustic columns are filled with upholstery offcuts leftover from manufacturing offering excellent acoustic properties. The columns are covered with PET felt, which looks like wool but is actually made of plastic using more than 50% recycled plastic. In total, Parthos uses a minimum of 32% recycled materials (metal, PET felt, textile). Parthos acoustic columns are easy to disassemble, sort and recycle.

With a broad range of fabric colours on offer Modus panels add depth and interest to office interiors and can be used to create private working spaces.
The system includes wall mounted panels, suspended ceiling panels, and vertically suspended double-sided panels.

The main purpose of acoustic panels is to reduce reverberation (echo) to the maximum extent possible and to absorb noise, in this way improving acoustic comfort. The panels contain a special patented and certified material designed to efficiently absorb sound. Modus acoustic panels offer class C sound absorption.
